This Klamath camping guide gives a good sampling of some of the favorite campsites in the area. No matter where you are on a Klamath Vacation there are plenty of camping opportunities to fit your needs. Fresh air and cool nights will be your companions no matter if you camp in your tent or in your RV or 5th wheel.
For each camping site below you'll find a list of the features each one has and some additional information about each one.
KOA Campground – Klamath Falls
Tent/RV sites: 18 tent sites/ 73 RV sites
Open: All Year
Rates: $27-31/night
Directions: Go west on Shasta Way off Crater Lake Parkway in Klamath Falls.

Aspen Point – Lake of the Woods
Tent/RV sites: 18 single sites/ 2 double sites
Open: Seasonal (Memorial Day to Labor Day)
Rates: Tent - $17, Standard - $17-34
Directions: From Klamath Falls take Hwy 140 W for 33 miles; go .6 miles south on Forest Road 3701
Other info: No hookups

Collier Memorial State Park – Chiloquin
Tent/RV sites: 18 tent sites/ 50 full hookups
Open: Seasonal (April to October 31)
Rates: May 1 – Sept 30 Tent sites - $18 and Full Hookups - $21
Directions: From Klamath Falls take Hwy 97 N past Chiloquin. The entrance to the campground is on the right just past the day use area.
Other info: Showers, Restrooms, Hiking, Fishing, The Logging Museum, 10 miles from Crater Lake National Park

Fourmile Lake – Sky Lakes Wilderness
Tent/RV sites: 28 sites
Open: Seasonal (Summer to early Fall)
Rates: $13/night
Directions: From Klamath Falls take Hwy 140 W. Turn north onto Fourmile Lake Road and go 6 miles to the lake.
Other info: Birdwatching, hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking. A favorite Klamath camping location!

PP&L Recreation Park – Keno
Tent/RV sites: 25 sites
Open: Seasonal (Memorial Day to Labor Day)
Rates: $10/night
Directions: From Klamath Falls take Hwy 66 W to Keno. Go over the bridge and past the post office. The turnoff is on the right immediately after the church. This is one of our favorite Klamath camping sites!
Other info: Heated restrooms and showers, boat ramp, no hookups, water pumps near campsites, day use area.
Juanita Lake Campground – Northern California
Tent/RV sites: 26 campsites with 23 family sites, 1 large group site, and 3 sites accessible by persons with disabilities.
Open: Year round
Rates: $15/night for single site and $20/night for double site
Directions: From Klamath Falls take Hwy 97 South past Macdoel. Take Ball Mtn. Road to Forest Service Road 46N04.
Other info: Fishing, hiking, winter use, swimming, no motorized boats, 1.5 paved trail circles the lake, day use area.

Lost Creek Campground – Crater Lake
Tent/RV sites: 16 tent sites
Open: Mid July to Mid September
Rates: $10/night
Directions: The southeast corner of the park on the spur road to the Pinnacles overlook.
Other info: No reservations, first-come first-served
Mazama Campground – Crater Lake
Tent/RV sites: 200 sites
Open: Early June to Mid October
Rates: $14.75/tent $15.75/RV
Directions: Located in Mazama Village near the South entrance off Hwy 62
Other info: No reservations, first-come first-served
Lava Beds National Monument – Northern California
Tent/RV sites: 43 sites
Open: Year round
Rates: $10/night
Directions: From Klamath Falls, take Hwy 39 south through Merrill. Turn right on Malone Road. At the California border take a left and then take the first right onto Hill Road and go 10 miles.
Other info: Visitor center open every day except December 25. Hiking, caving, Captain Jack’s Stronghold, ice caves.

Rocky Point Campground – Rocky Point
Open: Seasonal
Rates: $22/night – tents $28-30/night – RVs
Directions: From Klamath Falls take Hwy 140 W. Turn north onto West Side Road to Rocky Point Resort (approximately 3 miles).
Other info: Tent and RV sites available, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, canoeing, restaurant.
