Best Places To Stay
For Crater Lake Camping

You have two options for camping if you want to spend more than one day enjoying the picturesque beauty of Crater Lake National Park. Come prepared to stay in the lodge, stay in one of the cabins at Mazama Village, or spend the night camping in the Mazama campground or the Lost Creek campground.

The Mazama campground is located 7 miles from the rim and a short distance from the south entrance to the Park. It has over 200 sites for either RVs or tent camping. A few of the sites can be reserved and some hookups are also available. Most sites are on a first-come, first-served basis; however, some reservations are made.

The Lost Creek campground is located on the spur road to the Pinnacles overlook. It has 16 tent sites.

In the Mazama Village you can buy some souvenirs or eat out at the restaurant. Other camping facilities include public restrooms and hot showers, a laundry, a picnic table and fire ring, and a camper store.
