The Glassy Lake

by Charlene Rott
(Klamath Falls, OR)

Two years ago our family was camping at Collier State Park. This is a lovely place to camp just north of Klamath Falls, Oregon. It was a Father's Day weekend and we decided to take the hour drive up to Crater Lake. It was a beautiful day with clear skies and no wind at all. We arrived at Crater Lake to find the surface of the lake looking like glass. The reflection of the snow-covered mountains around the crater were spectacular. We had never seen that before at Crater Lake and found it to be another gorgeous picture of God's handiwork. Don't come to Oregon without visiting Crater Lake!
